The Redondo Beach Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Bureau salutes these fine sponsors:

Chamber Committees & Divisions

Councils and Committees:

Councils, committees and task forces represent the “action groups” of the Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Bureau. Each committee has a written “purpose”. Through committee work, ideas are conceived and problems recognized with respect to the orderly development and advancement of community and business needs. Each chamber Division operates a number of specialized committees and/ or task forces depending upon the size and scope of the Division’s activities. The function of these committees basically is to identify and study problems that exist and recommend an appropriate course of action to the Board of Directors. Committees of the Chamber may not commit the organization in any manner until the Executive Committee has approved recommendations upon a given project or specifically authorized a certain action recommended by the Executive Committee or Full Board. A sub-committee or task force has only as much power as may be given it by its parent committee and its reports are made only to the parent committee.

The Redondo Beach Chamber of Commerce is divided into seven major Divisions:
Visitors Bureau Committee
Governmental Relations Council
Community Relations
Economic Development
Membership Services
PAC
Leadership Redondo
Each Division is charged with the responsibility of carrying out a well-balanced program, in its specialized area as set forth in the Program of Action.
